Music Museum’s Christmas lights ceremony sets Theater Mall and Promenade areas ablaze

The tradition of lighting Christmas trees dates back to the XVIIth century. Candles were used to light The Tree, until the first Christmas tree lit by electric lights went up in New York City in 1882 with just 80 small electric light bulbs. It was Edward Johnson who created the first string of electric lights that became popular in the 1900s to light up Christmas homes.

Today, Christmas lights and Christmas displays have come a long way. Thousands of lights with various effects make Christmases bright everywhere. Catch the dazzling Christmas lights display at the Theater Mall and the Promenade at Greenhills Shopping Center that were turned on in an equally dazzling ceremony on November 15.
