Colorful Weekend with Philips Avent

During  Philips Avent event, mommies and expectant moms were invited to   enjoy another experience of  of the many facets of motherhood. With a theme,  From Pregnancy to Playground, the day was filled with joy and learning  and I was privileged to attend such event together with my younger daughter.

Mom and daughter were given a chance to take a photo at the  booth and later on,  kids were given an area to do their scrapbooking project  while moms  listened to  different informative talks from invited guest speaker.   The event was made more interesting  for expectant moms with talks by childbirth educator Lin Fernando of Philippine Association for Childbirth Education, baby sign language instructor Jaymie Pizarro,  breastfeeding consultant Dra. Pat Kho and Philips Avent Brand Ambassador Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan.

Tada!  She’s done with her scrap booking project.

Before we left, we grabbed the chance to take a photo with Philips Avent Brand Ambassador Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan.

Colorful Weekend: LEGO PILIPINAS, TARA NA!

I consider it a privilege to have been invited for LEGO event last week for the unveiling of  LEGO PILIPINAS, TARA NA! held at SM Mall of Asia. It was the grandest exhibit I have ever seen from LEGO where they featured key tourist spots in the Philippines. Presented by LEGO, LAJ Marketing Philippines, SM Mall of Asia and the Department of Tourism, supported by SM Toy Kingdom, The Picture Company, The Philippines Star, Mommy Mundo and Creative Juice Communications, this exhibit will run from August 12-27 2011 at SM Mall of Asia. Exciting daily activities await the kids and the whole family as well.

In partnership with the Department of Tourism, LEGO aims to promote beauty of the Philippines through an exhibit of the re-creations of famous regional landmarks and icons which will be highlighted by the 18×30 Philippine map-all made of colorful LEGO bricks.

The LEGO Pilipinas, Tara Na! event also presents the “Ang Ganda ng Pilipinas, Ang Galing ng Pilipino” photo exhibit of local personalities who were not afraid to dream and who, through their excellent work and contributions in society, inspire others to do the same because the Philippines is not just about its wonderful places but also about great people who continue to shine all over the world.
