Family Outing at Villa Martha

We booked a private resort last year for a sem-break vacation but it didn’t push through because my two nieces and nephew got sick. This summer we  went to the resort and spent only a day tour.   Good thing  we’re  still able to use the reservation we made last year at the same rate because we chose a non-holiday tour which fell on Monday, a day after our mini reunion and house blessing of my sister in Batangas.

“Cousins are people that are ready made friends, you have laughs with them and remember good times from a young age, you have fights with them but you always know you love each other, they are a better thing than brothers and sisters and friends cause there all pieced together as one.”

the week that was

I’m feeling a little sick now. I can’t blog much of our vacation. First, the picture on which I have to post for our everyday things, including todays image were unintentionally deleted from my camera.

Last Sunday, my niece, Baby Issy was baptized. She is 8 months old and with superficial resemblance with my bro in one of the pictures that I took. I was supposed to share pictures with my brother who was not around for his little darlings christening. I captured every details of the event but I was totally dismayed when I found out that no images were left in my camera after uploading in an infected computer. I was unaware of the condition of pc. I’ve called my brother and informed him what had happened. I felt so sorry. Sigh. My heart cried that moment.

It wasn’t actually hot summer. It rained almost half of the week. The kids really enjoyed playing badminton in the afternoon and also playing in the rain and kissing the raindrops at summertime. They can’t have that in Manila, when there is a little rain, heavy flood follows. Those photos that I have captured were also included in deleted folder of my camera. 🙁

Nothing to share/update much since the images were gone. It was all in my memory but I can’t ask any photoshop how/whatever technology/software to use to print them and connect the usb straight from my memory. Would it be possible? Just a wishful thinking. 🙂

summer blues

Yesterday was truly and overly hot! You will not feel the heat when you’re inside the house, but once you step your feet outside, you will feel tremendously 35°C. Wow, you’ll burn calories by too much sweating.. 😀

You can have a good night sleep in a full airconditioned room but you can’t stay inside forever. While the other part of the world is enjoying the melting of ice/snow at this time, we’re here embracing the season, with our skin being kissed and touched by the hot sun too warm and too deep.

The kids are enjoying summer inside the room. Electric bill goes up again like a rocket.. 🙁

Here’s something to cool you down.. Halu-halo special..

summer, please come later…

my daughter took this picture inside the window of a bus, weeks ago during her trip to baguio..

Flowers in bloom… meyz took this picture and really love flowers, trying to overcome her allergies to pollen.

Manila on its coldest 16 degrees, baguio 6 degrees. In tropical country, this season is the coldest, jan – feb.. In benguet, the weather drop down to 3 degrees, and the vegetable farm is now frost but will not affect the supply yet. I have my long due wish to visit Sagada, I do hope to embrace the 4am temperature there sometime.

The country will have to brace for more cold weather until next month,as per PAGASA. wow, thanks.. were enjoying the cold weather. Our meralco bill drop to only half compare to our last month bill. We’re not using aircon or electric fan anymore. Ooh summer, please come later and for another reason, and i guess, we’re both enjoying, my daughter is no longer being attacked by asthma.

In early morning school, i make sure that my kids are wrapped with jacket.. hhmmmm.. even if nots freeZing, just to make sure they’re protected enough for the unusual season.

Cold season.. we still have a more days to enjoy before 40 degrees of summer comes..
